This is a Macnaught MX Series MX12S Ex ia Zone 1 Intrinsically Safe Oval Gear Flow Meter (2.0 – 30 L/min, 138 bar) with ½” ports for the measurement of industrial solvents. The oval gear measurement principle offers extremely high accuracy on both low and high viscosity fluids. Furthermore, because this meter doesn’t require flow conditioning, no straight piping runs are required, so the flow meter can be used in installs where space is limited without affecting performance.
